I think songs should be vulnerable. They’re personal and they’re authentic.
I’m Lauryn Tauber, a 20 year old singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California. My music is inspired by many genres, spanning from alternative to R&B and everything in between. My own music is largely country pop, blending catchy, rhythmic melodies with storytelling lyrics.
I’ve been drawn to music all my life, and I am currently studying Music Industry and Songwriting at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music. I hope to pursue a career as a songwriter, writing and working with other artists to help them tell their stories.
My goal is to use my music to promote important, relatable messages that celebrate the emotional rollercoaster that is everyday life. A song can capture any moment whether it’s the rush you feel from being in love, or the weight you carry from suffering a loss.
Music has been my support system, my medicine, and my best friend. I have no idea where I’d be without it. My songs are torn from the pages of my real life. Welcome to my diary.
